Two Tables was started as a Men's Club Event. The men gather to take communion and have an small intimate service on the first Saturday of the month. After the service they go to the Afton Diner and have breakfast together.

While Two Tables was started as a Men's Club Event, ALL ARE INVITED AND WELCOME TO gather to take communion and have an small intimate service on the first Saturday of the month. After the service they go to the Affton Diner and have breakfast together.


TWO TABLES - Christ Table and the Breakfast Table - OPEN TO ALL WHO WISH TO COME TO THE TABLE!


The Affton Diner is located at 10020 Gravois Rd., Affton, MO.

Since 1957, the Church of the Advent Episcopal Church has been a thriving force in the City of Crestwood.  Feeding the hungry, providing meaningful worship and growing a faith-filled community have been our mission.  Come see us in action!

In the fall of 2021, St. Thomas Deaf Church joined when their Vicar, Rev. Emily Hillquist Davis, became the Rector of Advent.  Always thinking of others, the members of Advent invited the members of St. Thomas to follow Rev. Emily and we became "Partners in Christ". 

 

St. Thomas Deaf Church was started in 1876, founded by Austin Ward Mann, who was a Deaf priest.  St. Thomas is one of only three Deaf Episcopal Churches left in The Episcopal Church, but the Episcopal Conference of the Deaf (ECD), a national organization, is hoping to change that statistic.  You can learn more about the St. Thomas and the ECD by looking at our HISTORY page.
